It works! Although Peggy Sharp says she like to use it without props I think props are great. As well as a great tool for fluency the students personalities really come through.
Although I am very familiar with Reading Lists I am always looking for new ones. I found this site not only filled with Reading Lists for all levels, but it also had many useful articles on reading and learning disabilities. It was written in a very easy to read format so I can see myself using it to give to parents with some helpful tips on some frequently asked questions about their struggling readers and how they can answer them for their children and help them.
As this was my first blog I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised as I thoroughly enjoyed this article. Not only did I find it valuable as an educator, but I plan to share this information with my 22year old business major son. Hopefully it will make him more marketable in the futute business world he will be entering. I look foreward to more valuable reading!
